Our 1 year old Golden Retriever is just crazy
about the Knuckle Bones.
I usually give him one on Saturday and Sunday
mornings.
When he sees me going to the freezer in my garage
(where we keep the knuckles) he goes into his happy dance
routine.
I think soon we will have to go to the giant
knuckles!

Hi Craig,
We have 2 dogs: a greyhound and a small-breed mutt. The bones
are a huge hit with both of them, and the funny thing is that
even though the beef shanks are recommended for larger dogs, our
little mutt goes at that bone like it's steak wrapped in bacon
wrapped in steak wrapped in ... well, more bacon. No complaints
there.
I don't know that there's anything better that you could be
doing with the bones themselves, but I might wonder if you've
looked in to whether or not the bones could be shipped in some
kind of airtight, vacuum-sealed type packaging. That might save
money in terms of not needing to ship the bones with a coldpack,
and it also might help cut down on the odor factor. It's not
that the odor is unpleasant or anything (quite the opposite) ...
it's just that when the bones arrive, the smell of the box makes
the dogs go a little nuts. :).

The dogs love em and they
have removed the plaque buildup on their teeth.
My dogs are small lap dogs and my only
suggestion would be that you offer to cut them
in half for smaller dogs.
(We are happy to do this for any of our
customers at NO charge. Just send us an
email asking for this custom cut right before
you place your order.)

Craig,
I just tried to place an order for dog bones
online. After going through the whole
process, including the credit card, at the final
step it said that a parameter error had occurred
and to notify the company. I need to know
if my order went through, or if I can place it
again. Thanks for your help. My Zoey
will be really upset if I can’t get these
ordered. It was for 2 of the 5-pack shank
bones and one of the 6-pack tendons.
Please let me know what to do. I wanted to
order today, so it will be delivered by Monday.

their hearts out for two days. Not just one dog
but all eleven love them.
These are the best bones I've found and will
continue to buy them as long as they are
available! There is not one thing that you
could do to make them better!

My two min pins LOVE your puppy chews. I keep
the bones in the freezer and microwave them for
30 seconds before I give them to Bambi and
Katherine. They now associate my opening the
freezer and putting something in the microwave
oven with getting their bones. They both spin
in circles with excitement when the bones are
handed out. My sister Barbara made
"dog quilts" from fabric scraps to help me cover
the floor for bone chewing time. Everyone in the
family helps spoil my girls.
Bambi cam from a rescue group and I don't
know when her birthday is. I got her 2 yrs
ago on 9/28 so we can consider that her
birthday. I figured out 9 days before the
puppies were born that Bambi wasn't getting fat.
She had 3 puppies - James T. Kirk, Jean-Luc
Picard and Katherine Janeway - My Star Trek
captains. The same people who told me
Bambi was spayed, told me that she was 5 yrs old
- not! I think she's around 10. My
vet recently commented that Bambi's teeth were
in great condition. I believe it's because
she gets your bones every week.
The one puppy I kept was Katherine Janeway.
Katherine was born on 11/24/2008. She was 4
oz. at birth - the runt of the litter.

Just wanted to say THANK YOU!! I don't usually do reviews, but this was one worth writing! We adopted a dog two months ago and he has a wild personality- as cute as it can be it can also be pretty annoying when you're trying to do things and he's mouthing you while you walk...he already poked a few holes in my nice sweaters just trying to play! When we put these bones down (we ordered the large smoked beef knuckles for our 20lb mixed breed) and he doesn't even notice we're in the room! I cooked dinner right in front of him just now and he could care less what food I had- he was just too busy :) We just put in our second order already and will continue shopping here. Plus the shipping is extremely fast!! THANKS again!

I received my order of large Beef knuckles yesterday. I am extremely pleased with the fast shipping an excellent quality of your product. My Bulldog has never enjoyed a Bone more. I was impressed how your Bones do not splinter. This was always of great concern to me regarding my English Bulldog and chew bones since she has immense bite force. Even under the Huge amount of pressure she exerted there was no shattering of the knuckle, she was able to shave it down slowly ( much like a cheese grater )and consume it.. On a recent trip to a large retail pet food chain , I could not find a single Natural bone that was not produced in China. After the last pet poisoning incident from firms using imported ingredients of dubious quality I am very please that you use USA beef. My Bull did not suffer from any gut issues or vomiting after consuming your Knuckle, which has not been the case in the past when I tried pet store Natural knuckle bones. It was only later that I read the label and noticed that the pet store knuckles were treated with Formaldehyde as a preservative. Well, thanks again for a fantastic pet product. Meatman!
Just wanted to say that we received our order of
large knuckle bones today. My dog Lily is
a 2 year old chocolate lab who can smell food
from miles away. She must have known the package
had arrived long before I did, since she was
laying at the front door when I came in through
the garage after work. The postman left
the package at the front door, and I probably
wouldn't have even known if she hadn't been
sniffing at the walls. Normally she would run
off to hide whatever bad things she had done
during the day, but not today! She was
laying patiently, knowing that something great
was about to happen! I gave her one of the bones
and I have never seen her enjoy one so much!
She licked and chewed at it for about 2 hours!
Shipping was VERY fast and these are the best
quality bones I have found so far. There's
actually still meat left on them! I will
definitely be buying again! Thank you so
much for this great product. Here's a

Dear Craig, We used to buy the large knuckles for our good ol' boy, Max the Airedale. He knew when the box would arrive. Now we have a puppy, just about six months, Honey Bear the Airedale. Terriers sure love to chew, and after the insoles of all my shoes disappeared, and several choice woven baskets were destroyed, I ordered the first box of knuckles for Honey Bear. I thought, she's only four months, she'll never be able to open her puppy jaw that wide. Ha! Honey Bear loved the MEAT on those bones. She carried the first knuckle to her special "corner den" and chewed contentedly. If I could think of what to do with absolutely clean white bones, I'd make garden sculptures out of them. She cleans them bare. But for now, I'm ordering TWO more boxes for her. The are a no-fail distraction for unwanted behavior, and she is showing us that she will be a wonderful Airedale. My feet are more comfortable with insoles! Those bone-sickels (we keep them in the freezer) make us MAGNIFICENT pet owners in her eyes. Now, if you can think of a way to keep the Maltese (6 pounds) from trying to steal the knuckles, we shall have peace in the valley at last. Marianne |

Just wanted to say THANK YOU!! My American Mastiff is 8 months old (about 120 lbs.), and he absolutely loves your hickory smoked bones. They are the only thing out there that keeps him busy for hours at a time. We have tried the large knuckles, shanks and the extra large knuckles. After trying all three, seems he has a preference for the extra large knuckles (just placed another order today). Any way you could start selling these in a five or ten pack deal? He really goes through them!! Thanks again for the great product.

I ordered the Large Knuckle bones for my two Rottweiler's. They absolutely LOVED them! They were very meaty and large. In the past, I have bought knuckle/femur bones from the local pet store and the local grocery store for a lot more money for each individual bone- and those bones were just that, BONE- no meat on them. They tended to splinter too. My dogs merely "picked" at them. Your bones are Fantastic! They don't splinter. My dogs devour them! They even smell good! Your website is easy to navigate and your prices for dog bones can't be beat! ANYWHERE! The bones arrived in a very timely fashion and were packaged with care.

Thank you very much! I actually went ahead and ordered the Mammoth bone before you got back to me. I was so excited to give them to my dogs, I couldn't wait! They absolutely love them! I think I might get the extra large knuckle next time though. They would probably fit better in my freezer!
Oh, I did have one more quick question. Is it ok to keep putting the bones in the freezer and then taking them out when I give them to the dogs? My boyfriend mentioned something about checking to see if that was ok, to keep taking them out and then freezing them again. I said I was pretty sure that's what you are supposed to do, as you said to keep them stored in the freezer. Anyway, thank you again for getting back to me and the super fast shipping also!

Holy Moly! My dog, Czarina, is going wild already. Your bones are incredible! You even sent a couple of extras, including a "King Kong" bone that I'm giving to my friend's Airedale. I already gave the 2 Staffordshire Bull Terriers across the street a few bones, too. You're well worth the price for the quality, including shipping. Superb.

We are the proud parents of 3 Pomeranians, 2 of which happen to be "VORACIOUS" chewers. I have been searching far and wide for an alternative to rawhide. Every pet store, every web site... you name it. These dogs go through rawhide like it's nothing. One of them even has a little weight problem. I'm sure it's due to the rawhide. It can't be healthy for them to ingest this over time.
No other chewing alternatives seemed to be acceptable to them. Believe me I've tried them all.
A few weeks ago we found some smoked shanks at our local gourmet grocery. "Jackpot" or so I thought. They were a little too big and quite costly. After getting off all the good crunchy stuff on the outside, (and they couldn't get to the marrow in the middle, only at each end) they lost their interest. The little mouths couldn't get around the big ole thing to work on chewing at it further. And after about breaking my toe a few times walking through the house.... I continued my search.
I was very impressed by your website. The "No Shipping Cost" caught my eye and I decided to give it a shot.
I bought the "Hickory Smoked Puppy Chews", since the dogs are all under 7 pounds this worked out to be a very good choice for me. They went crazy over them. When I arrive home from work and let them out of the kitchen they run straight for the last place they saw their chew. And three days later they are still working on the same chewies. They can get there jaws around them to chew and carry. It's hysterical to watch.
Our local gourmet grocery can't compete with you guys. The only teeny, weeny drawback is that now my beautiful fluffy lap dogs smell like "Hickory Smoked" lap dogs. LOLOLOL --- I don't even care....They smell like my husband after he has been outside smoking ribs.
I was totally impressed with the delivery. To place an order on Wednesday afternoon and they arrived on Monday around noon. Who can beat that with no shipping cost added to my order? I was more excited to see these in the mail so soon then anything in a long time. And also the personal note included on my invoice from Craig was priceless. I had just about lost all hope in good old fashion service with a smile.

BTW, our 19 month old Doberman, Willie, LOVES the bones and chews. And I'm not just saying that. It was obvious as soon as I opened the box that your goodies are top quality. The intensity and focus of his chewing proves it! He's a happy boy! I've bought some other bones off of EBay and elsewhere and you would be dumbfounded with what they sell. Charred, not smoked bones. Ribs. etc. Not healthy AND dangerous.

My name is Eragon, the Rottweiler. I am two years old. I love, love your bones!! They are so yummy.
When my Mom takes them out of that square thing, a box, I think she says, my nose thinks it is in heaven. I literally start to drool with the thought of your tasty hickory bones.
I will do anything to get one. When my Mom asks me if I want a bone, I stand straight up and my ears perk up. My Mom says I look so cute. LOL! Anyway, I will sit, give her my paw, lay down...whatever she wants.

My Lab / Terrier mix is, by far, the biggest chewer of all the dogs I have ever owned. I have been through countless brands and varieties of bones and chews, and much to my dismay, none of them met our (or her) needs. I ordered the knuckle bones and voila'! We found the right product! I've just ordered the variety pack to try out a couple different kinds. I'm looking forward to receiving those. Layla is only a year old, so I am sure we will be customers for a LONG time.
